The recent NPFL event on Santee Cooper included 19 Bassmaster Elite Series or Bass Pro Tour anglers in the field. Fifteen of those 19 competitors cashed a check (79%), with Bassmaster Elite Series pro Jason Christie winning the event. Bass Pro Tour angler Zack Birge only competed in 2 days of the 3 day event and finished 35th, cashing a check in the process!

We took a behind-the-scenes trip to Sign It Wraps in Sand Springs, OK, to see the Best on Tour boat wrap come to life on Matt Pangrac’s rig. From cutting to application to the finishing details, the team at Sign It Wraps showed us what goes into a professional wrap job. The plaque wall at the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame will see three new additions in 2025, a formidable trio that represents a cross section of industry pillars, including boat building, media, tournament organization and tackle innovation.
The Hall of Fame will welcome Randy Hopper, Craig Lamb and William Shakespeare Jr., who were selected from a diverse 20-person ballot by the Hall of Fame’s 30-member Selection Panel and living Hall of Fame inductees. A total of 81 ballots were distributed and 65 were returned, eclipsing last year’s total for most ballots submitted in a single year. The roster of Hall of Famers now stands at 103.
